The Dark Knight

Finally went to see The Dark Knight last night. For as big a Batman fan as myself to wait this long meant there must have been major illness and ridiculous amounts of work keeping me away, but I finally saw it… and it’s right. Nearly 98% pitch perfect, which is truly amazing for a PG-13 movie. This movie has given me hope that Hollywood is not full of a bunch of idiots.

I should remember to see it again and again… and hope they don’t completeley screw up the video game.

The Most Beautiful Suicide

Sure it’s morbid and probably been over exposed through the years from folks like Warhol, but I’ve never seen this photo before and am bizarrely drawn into it’s story.

I should remember to be a bit more morbid and get back to taking photos.

4th of July in Pawling

Last weekend the woman and I took the Triumph for its first real ride up to Pawling to celebrate our countries independence in the woods. Riding 70-80mph up the Taconic through green woods, over reservoirs, and around tightly packed rolling hills was heaven. Oh and the time up in Pawling was great, too. (Chopping down trees, building bonfires and generally cultivating rough manly hands.)

I need to remember to both visit my friend in Pawling more often and just plain get out there and ride away from the city more often.

Another Painting (Possibly Getting Better?)

Mary Maybe these are getting better… Hmm… I need to remember to keep trying.
